A standard single manual roller door will usually cost less than a wider automated door. When comparing quotes, check whether installation, motor, removal of the existing door and any electrical work are included.
Are roller doors secure?
A correctly installed steel roller door can provide good everyday security. The curtain, guide rails, bottom rail and locking arrangement all contribute. An automatic opener may provide resistance to lifting, depending on its design, but not all openers provide the same security features.
